To celebrate the college’s partnership with the Open University in Scotland, the library has mapped a selection of the OU’s OpenLearn materials to the college curriculum (as best we can).

These are introductory modules. They can be used as supplementary or complementary course materials. They can be downloaded, customised, loaded into Moodle. The nice thing is that all are free. (We like free!)

• Social work and the law in Scotland
• The politics of devolution

Just a taster of available Scottish materials. There’s an awful lot more. Have a look. You may be pleasantly surprised!
